Location: Addison County, VT

Schedule: 25+ hours/week preferred | August 2026 with possibility to extend if desired

Pay: $35/hour + performance bonuses | Mileage reimbursed at the 2026 IRS rate ($0.725/mile)

About the Role

We're bringing high-speed fiber internet to Vermont communities, and we're looking for a friendly, motivated canvasser to help spread the word. You'll go door to door, letting our community know that fiber broadband is available at their address or is coming soon, and answer basic questions about signing up.

Full training will be provided prior to starting. You'll receive materials covering Maple Broadband's products and services, along with the basics of fiber broadband technology, so you can speak confidently with residents, as well as best practices for canvassing safely and comfortably.

What You'll Do

• Visit homes and businesses in Maple Broadband's active and planned service areas.

• Introduce potential customers to Maple Broadband’s fiber internet service and answer basic questions.

• Share informational materials and direct interested residents to sign-up resources

• Track simple canvassing data at each door—such as who is home vs. not home, and who would like a follow-up call or email to answer more questions

The Right Candidate Is...

• Comfortable and confident talking with strangers

• Friendly, professional, and self-motivated

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)

• Able to commit to 25+ hours per week, at minimum in August

• Comfortable working outdoors and driving/walking door to door in a variety of weather

• Organized and detail-oriented—able to reliably and diligently record results and data

Compensation

• $35 per hour

• Performance bonuses

• Mileage reimbursed at the 2026 IRS standard rate of $0.725 per mile
